If you have been dreaming of a trophy buck, this is your deer preserve hunt. The coveted Ohio whitetail deer lives inside this unique high fenced hunt that covers over 150 acres of wooded lots and beautiful open meadows. These deer are used to roaming freely over this entire area and they know all the hiding places. That means a challenging and exciting hunting experience for you. But rest assured, you will see numerous bucks on your hunt, including whitetail bucks over 200”, making it hard to decide on your trophy.
You will have your own guide during your hunt who will assist you in collecting your trophy buck. Your guide will make your hunt an enjoyable adventure that will give you memories for years to come. On your hunt you will have your choice of weapons; from archery to muzzleloader, to shotgun, to rifle.
Your Ohio deer hunting adventure will start right after a short ride in the hunting vehicle to the hunting area, where you will have your choice of hunting options that best suites the type of hunt you desire: from hunting from a stand to a walk and stalk hunt. No hunting license required for non-residents. All hunts are guaranteed. Also, a draw blood policy is in effect and fees are due on wounded animals.

In order to offer you a unique Ohio deer hunting experience, Starkey Hollow Whitetails also secures private land for hunting access. The end result is direct access to the Ohio whitetail natural habitat and a more exhilarating deer hunting adventure.
Since this type of hunt occurs outside our boundaries, there are some rules that need to be followed:
- Only one buck can be harvested per season by a hunter.
- Ohio’s one week gun law comes into effect the week after Thanksgiving. (Ohio does not allow hunting with a rifle.)
- Ohio muzzleloader season typically runs at the end of December or first part of January.
- The Ohio Department of Natural Resources website has all the specifics as all state laws and licensing are required to be followed.
